Where we work

Metro is building better transit throughout Los Angeles County, fostering busier sidewalks, safer streets, and more vibrant neighborhoods. Eat Shop Play operates within these areas, offering marketing assistance to businesses within one quarter-mile of the construction corridors. The goal is to mitigate construction impacts while furnishing businesses with the digital skills to take advantage of increased exposure and foot traffic  that accompany new transit connections.

The D Line Subway Extension expands the subway nine miles from Koreatown to Westwood, connecting Downtown Los Angeles to the Westside. When complete, Wilshire Boulevard will have seven new subway stations, making one-seat rides from Westwood to Downtown Los Angeles possible in less than 25 minutes. The first section of this historic project, which extends from Wilshire/Western to Wilshire/La Cienega, is slated to open in Winter, 2026. The second and third sections are anticipated to open in 2027.
